The project is made by HKTM specifically for the transportation and feeding process of the glasses used in the glass and white appliances sectors.

In the glass industry, not only quality but also visuality is vital. Furthermore, the glasses used in the white appliances sector are particularly heavy. These glasses are usually cut in specific dimensions, piled up and carried on pallets with the help of conveyors in order to be processed and shaped. During this feeding process, as carrying these heavy glasses is hard by the operators and any possible damage to the glass must be prevented, a cartesian system by 3 axes (or 2 axes depending on the appliance) is the most suitable system that can carry out this process.

This system picks the glass from the pallet by a pneumatic vacuum and places it onto the conveyor gently. This prevents both the operator from experiencing any health problems and scratching the glass.
