Hydraulic rotary actuators achieve high torque output especially in small and narrow spaces.
Operating Technology
The concept of hydraulic rotary actuators is based on a system where the linear motion piston is converted into a rotational movement by helical gears. Each actuator is comprised of a housing and two moving parts — the central shaft and piston. Helical spline teeth on the shaft engage matching teeth on the piston’s inside diameter. A second set of helical splines on the piston’s outside diameter mesh with the gear in the housing.

Light Series Hydraulic Rotary Actuator (HSR) is suitable if you need medium torque and you have light working conditions.
