Crane systems are the most important hydromechanical load transfer (handling) systems used in the ports and businesses for the marine sector. This is due to the extending movement of the booms known as telescopic movement. Hydraulic boom raising/lowering, arm forward/backward and turn right/left are the primary movements.

In these systems the hydrostatic drive is the most common power source, and the selection and implementation of hydraulically actuated command arms play the most significant role in the project.
